For in-person or hybrid teaching positions, candidates must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University’s campuses. For courses that are taught 100% online, the candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan, Illinois (excluding Chicago), Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, or Wisconsin after acceptance of employment. Required: The standard to teach college credit courses at the associate degree level (1xx, 2xx) shall be the bachelor's (or higher) degree in field, or closely related area. A bachelor's degree or higher out of field and an associate's degree in field and five (5) years of relevant industry experience; or a bachelor's degree out of field and seven (7) years of relevant industry experience; or an associate's degree in field and seven (7) years of relevant industry experience.
