| Summary of Position: |
Under the supervision of Associate Dean of Student Life, the Student Manager is responsible for the general operation of the David L. Eisler Center at night and on weekends. |
|
| Position Requirements: |
- Must be able to work weekday nights (5-1030pm) and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs to shoulder level.
- Must be able to do other physical work including standing, lifting, stacking and moving equipment. |
|
| Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
- Carrying out David L Eisler Center policies
- Providing customer service in a professional matter and hold a positive image.
- Assist guests with making reservations.
- Ensure the David L. Eisler Center is locked and unlocked as appropriate for opening and closing the facility.
- Ensure that events are setup to guests expectations.
- Enforce and uphold David L. Eisler Center policies.
- Be able to move and set up audiovisual equipment.
- Work with fulltime and student staff to ensure events are properly set.
- Able to do manual set ups of event spaces.
- Responsible for vacuuming, window cleaning and other cleaning as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Night Manager or Director of the University Center. |
